The Bard Named

So you heard of how he came to our realm. But thats not the end of our tale is it. For when we last left our Protaganist, he had been born to an Elf woman, and remembered not who or what he was. Now this turned out to be fortunate, for as a baby he was vulnerable, but no one, not even the Bard himself knew who he was, and because of this the God of Despair could not find him.
So he was born to an unsuspecting mother, anawares of what he was, but the midwife, she knew he was something special. For when he came out, he did not cry, but hummed softly and sweetly. Now the Bards magics were tied to his music, so when he hummed he glowed. The midwife looked and said, "Behold he shines with the light of the gods!" And so the boy who would be the Bard was named Lucian, which means child of light." Soon the boy would show more amazing abilities, but those are other tales, for other nights...
